Easy, Light Gravy

Ingredients:

1/3 cup reduced-fat butter

1/3 cup all-purpose flour

3 cups reduced-Sodium turkey or chicken stock

1 cup warm water

1 Tablespoon dry sherry

Fresh ground pepper, to taste

 

Instructions:

1. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter.

2. Whisk in flour and cook 1-2 minutes. Gradually whisk in broth and water until well mixed.

3. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes.

4. Stir in sherry and pepper.

5. Serve warm and enjoy! (Can be made a day in advance and heated before serving)
